Meet Mike
Hi, I'm Mike. I'm a woodworker, maker and musician, raised beside the sea in Kent, but making my life in the leafy, landlocked city of Sheffield.
Tools & Techniques
Alongside traditional woodworking tools, I use CNC milling, laser cutting and 3D printing in my work. Most of the things I make are purposeful, functional objects designed to work hard and last — but I also aim to imbue everything with care and beauty. I hope that the things I create inspire delight, joy and love.
Why Loxley Woodcraft?
The River Loxley runs right by my house, and the surrounding valley is one of my favourite places. I've walked or cycled along the river for years, exploring in all seasons, and its beauty is a constant inspiration for my work as a craftsman. When I started making things for others, it was only natural that Loxley take a share of the credit!
